COLORADO SKI HOLIDAYS POLICIES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PRICES. Any prices stated on this web site or on quotations/
invoices include all package components and taxes as described and only those
components. All prices may have been rounded and reflect rates that are in effect
at the time of printing, quoting or invoicing. All prices quoted are subject
to change prior to written confirmation of booking. Occasionally, municipality
lodging taxes may be changed in mid-season and these increases are passed on
to us. So we reserve the right to adjust your package price to reflect such
an increase. Please be aware that cities and/or airports levy significant fees
and taxes on car rentals and these fees/taxes cannot be collected by us in advance.
So if you have a rental car in the package, be prepared to pay these fees when
you turn in the vehicle. We strongly recommend you check your car rental invoice
at the time of return to insure that you are paying only fees and taxes and
any extra items you purchased separately such as insurance and gasoline service.
PAYMENTS. Normally, a deposit of $200.00 per person is due seven days after
verbal confirmation of booking, though some resorts and properties require higher
amounts. You will be advised at the time of booking of the required amount.
Our contract airfares do not require a separate deposit; however, regular “published”
airfares require full payment at time of booking confirmation. Final Payments
are normally due 45 days prior to your arrival. Christmas bookings are more
stringent.
CANCELLATIONS. Policies vary among lodging companies, so we tailor your cancellation policies to your lodging company; specifics will be provided in your invoice. In general, if you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, all money will be refunded less $35.00 per person plus a lodging company fee. Canceling 30 or fewer days before arrival will result in loss of all money received. Christmas policies are more stringent. We recommend purchasing optional trip cancellation and interruption insurance. An application will be provided with your booking invoice.
PACKAGE CHANGE FEES. We do not charge you for changes to packages after you book unless there are mandated fees from airlines or lodging companies. For example, changing or canceling an airline ticket after it has been ticketed will result in mandatory airline fees. Likewise if you change your lodging after we have made the final payment to the lodging company, the cancellation policy of the lodging company will apply. When we say no change fees, we are generally talking about adding a car rental or changing car sizes or adding or subtracting lift tickets or even adding another person. We specialize in custom trips, and you should be able to make minor changes without incurring nuisance fees.
FORMS OF PAYMENT. Prices have been discounted an additional three percent for cash payment. Personal or cashier's checks, money orders and bank wire transfers are acceptable forms of cash payments. Payments for reservations made within 45 days of arrival must be by cashiers check or wire transfer. Bookings made within 21 days of arrival must be paid for by wire transfer. If you use a credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER or AMEX) for any payment, the three percent cash discount will be added to the amount of that payment and a signature for the charge will be required. We will fax or mail you a form for that signature.
MAILING OF DOCUMENTS. Your price includes sending final documents to one address. If you want items sent to two or more addresses, there will be a $10.00 fee for each additional address. We FEDEX with signature required on receipt, so physical addresses are necessary. If you have airline tickets in your package, every effort will be made to obtain advance seat assignments. This may not always be possible, as airlines hold back a significant number of seats for assignment when travelers check in for the flight.
REFUNDS. Refunds will not be sent to you until we receive the money from the supplier. Unused single-day and multi-day lift tickets sent to you in advance are refundable for $10.00 per ticket. Partially used multi-day tickets which you pick up at the resort are normally refundable only in the case of medical problems; you will need to send us a medical report along with the unused portion of the lift ticket(s).
